The story of CPI starts from SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit. I have explained this on the Part 4 of this blog series. In this part, we shall know is detail.
STEP 1: Once you login, you will find an Account created in the Platform Cockpit.
STEP 2: As you click on the Account, you can see the TMNs i.e. Tenant Management Nodes.
For the individual Tenants, you can maintain necessary configurations, such as 1. Destinations, and Cloud Connectors for Connectivity, 2. Trust, Authorizations, and OAuth Settings for Security, 3. Repositories, 4.Platform Roles, 5. Members, etc.
In this session, we shall understand about how to get starting with CPI. So, the key to working with CPI, is a login ID. How and where to maintain it so that you can access the CPI Tenant, and get going with the IFlow.
STEP 3: To do so, in your Tenant, go to Members, and Add Members. Give them appropriate roles. If the ID is to be used for building IFlows, then Administrator, and Developer roles are a must.
STEP 4: Next, go to Security --> Authorizations --> *assign the ID with appropriate roles as shown below.
If you do not follow the STEP 4, you shall get the below error when you will login to CPI using your SUser ID, and password.
Hence, all the STEPs are a must. This part was supposed to release right after Part 4, and I unfortunately missed bloggin this. Its better late than never. ?
Hope you had a good read.
