APOS Live Data Gateway for SAP Data Warehouse Cloud provides fast, efficient and transparent data access through Microsoft Power BI DirectQuery connections to SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. Microsoft Power BI does not natively support a DirectQuery connection to SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. Using APOS Live Data Gateway for SAP Data Warehouse Cloud enables Power BI reports and visualizations to display current, live SAP Data Warehouse Cloud data with Power BI DirectQuery with no need to import data into Power BI. A DirectQuery connection is critical to handle medium to large datasets and cloud sources where importing data is prohibitive because of size. Only the information required, is retrieved, which means the data is always current with no latency or time delays associated with downloading data. Security concerns of downloading full datasets to local machines are also mitigated with access to only small data portions required for visualizations locally.
