How to create Section in SAP Analytics Cloud?

Section is a new feature in SAP Analytics Cloud where we can do specific dimension data wise analysis by changing the window for each member of that specific dimension. In this blog I am going to explain how to create a section in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Below are the steps being used to create a section in SAP Analytics Cloud:

Step-1: Create a story using canvas page.

 

Step-2: Add section in the canvas page.

 

Step-3: Select the model.

 

Step-4: In builder add a dimension as filter on which section is needed.

 

Step-5: Add a chart inside of section area.

 

Step-6: Make the chart by providing dimensions and measures.

 

Step-7: Go to view mode. Section will be visible.

 

 

In this way we can implement section in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Conclusion: Section is the very good feature of SAP Analytics Cloud where we can do specific dimension data wise analysis by changing the window for each member of that specific dimension. As of now section can be implemented only in canvas page. Responsive page does not support this feature.
