In this document, we address a compatibility challenge between two products: Datasphere and
SAP Cloud Integration. Datasphere exclusively supports Authorization Code grant for OAuth2
authentication, while SAP Cloud Integration does not extend this support to its HTTP/OData
adapters. This discrepancy can pose a barrier to establishing connectivity between SAP Cloud
Integration and Datasphere OData API. However, by following the detailed instructions outlined
in this document, you can successfully navigate this challenge and achieve seamless integration
between these two systems.
