Fresh from our experience at SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference 2025 in Orlando, we’re excited to share key highlights from our session.
Together with @markus_winter, I had the opportunity to present how Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management (ISLM)—is accelerating innovation and transforming the way businesses operate with SAP S/4HANA.
I’m Priti Dhingra, Director - Product Management at SAP. Since joining SAP in 2001, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute across various roles and initiatives, partnering closely with customers and driving innovation across the SAP ecosystem. In my current role, I drive customer-facing initiatives in Cloud & Lifecycle Management, with a strong focus on AI lifecycle management.
Business AI Vision and Overarching Goals
Before we dive into the technical aspects, let's establish the overarching vision of SAP when it comes to AI. Our goal is to empower organizations to leverage SAP’s portfolio of technology to become intelligent, efficient, and sustainable. AI is not just a buzzword; it is a critical enabler for digital transformation. By embedding AI into our ERP and other business applications, we aim to automate processes and enable data-driven decision-making.

What is ISLM?
ISLM stands for Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management. It is a framework designed to seamlessly integrate AI into business applications. ISLM offers a comprehensive platform for managing the entire lifecycle of AI use cases, whether you are a customer, partner, or internal SAP development team.
Key Capabilities of ISLM
- Integrated into SAP S/4HANA: ISLM is natively integrated into SAP S/4HANA and supports both embedded and side-by-side scenarios.
- Pre-built AI Use Cases: ISLM supports lifecycle management of pre-built AI use cases.
- Custom Use Case Creation: Customers and partners can use ISLM to build their own tailored AI use cases.
