Many companies face challenges in modernizing HR management. They aim to be data-driven, and while they have the data, they often lack the tools to turn insights into impactful strategies that lead to a positive Employee Experience.

What if we told you that SAP Signavio has the tools, and Mercer holds the approach to innovate HR management? Two key industries practitioners have come together to empower our customers to drive a successful HR transformation through Employee Experience (EX). Employee Experience encompasses the overall impression of all interactions and experiences that employees have during their employment with one organization.

How does this collaboration work?

The EX approach ran by Mercer is based on strategically redesigning HR processes to trigger positive emotions from the employee’s perspective, thinking with an end-to-end view rather than individual contributions from different HR roles.

This is supported by SAP Signavio and its powerful process transformation portfolio. SAP Signavio offers comprehensive capabilities  — including Process & Journey Modelling, Process Governance, Process Analysis & Mining, Transformation & Value Management, Collaboration, and pre-built value accelerators — to help run, optimize and improve every business process. Additionally, it provides out-of-the-box value accelerators and business content, such as the SuccessFactors process library. These extend to HR through experience management.

The purpose of the approach is to empower organizations to reimagine their HR processes with a focus on positive Employee Experiences, aligning workflows with what truly matters to people.

How will this look like for our customers?

  1. Start with a smart analysis of selected HR processes and related “moments that matter” (significant experiences or events that have a lasting impact on employees) in cooperation with the respective employee and manager target group, identify pain points and improvement potential focusing on design principles:  fast, simple, seamless.
  2. Use employee journeys during prototyping together with the target group, incorporating new tech-features as well as requirements from the Target Operating Model and your culture.
  3. Design people-centric processes to ensure lean, efficient & positive interaction with HR, that complies with the boundaries of the new HCM Cloud Solution.

The outcome and value of this transformation speak for themselves:

  1. A set of employee-centric and streamlined processes, driving an optimized HR service delivery and Employee Experience.
  2. An instrument (Signavio) to monitor your processes after implementation to identify potential work arounds and improvement potential.
  3. Data-driven insights on your processes enabling you to draw reliable conclusions and take the right measures.

Infusing Employee Experience into your organization is a game-changer. We see it as a key enabler of a successful HR transformation – it is an aspiration, design principle and a tool all in one to achieve targeted improvements in individual HR processes to influence the overall satisfaction and productivity.

With SAP Signavio’s process transformation portfolio and Mercer’s strategic guidance, companies can confidently embark on a journey to transform HR - because better processes lead to better experiences, and better experiences drive success.
