ABAP Roadmap Information
The ABAP platform delivers its features as part of several SAP products. This document gives you an overview of important planned or upcoming feature milestones for the next releases for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) ABAP environment, and SAP S/4HANA. ABAP Cloud is delivered as part of these SAP solutions. The available ABAP Cloud scope depends on the respective SAP solution.
The feature set of the ABAP Cloud development model is extended quarterly for SAP BTP ABAP environment, half-yearly for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, and every two years for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP S/4HANA starting with Release 2023.
