Understanding Memo Records:-
With the App Manage Memo Records 2.0, you can create memo records for initial upload of bank account balance in the One Exposure from Operation Hub flows with Memo Record Category ‘ACTMO (Actual Cash Memo)’, that are not yet generated in the system. This serves as a replacement for data migration object FI - Bank account balance (deprecated)
What is One Exposure from Operations Hub.
The One Exposure from Operations hub is a real-time collection point and storage location for operational data. In the One Exposure a certainty level describes the likelihood, or reliability, of a cash flow forecast. Certainty levels are assigned internally by the program based on the source application and the process that generated the cash flow.
The Source Applications can be one of the following :-
- Financial Operations
- Treasury and Risk Management
- Materials Management
- Sales and Distribution
- End-of-Day Bank Statements
- Memo Records
Along with that, there are some external source applications as well.
Hence, the App Memo Record 2.0 only solves the purpose to create memo records for actual and forecasted cash flows.
Conclusion:-
For all the above mentioned source application where an IBU (Initial Balance Upload) needs to be created we use the Schedule Job for Initialize One Exposure Data. It saves the hassle of selecting from the huge set of data points from these source applications to generate One Exposure from Operations Hub cash flows and can easily generate the Initial Balances Upload by simply selecting the source application.
