SAP Signavio Process Intelligence

Mirror how your business actually works with the Relational process data model

Imagine your business as a living system — intricate, interconnected, always in motion. Now, imagine having a modeling approach that mirrors that reality, instead of forcing it into rigid frameworks.

With the latest SAP Signavio update, data modelers can now connect event logs directly with master data — think vendors, materials, or financial records — through intuitive, visual relationships. It’s like drawing lines between real-world touchpoints, creating a map that actually makes sense for how your business really runs.

This shift does more than improve structure. It transforms how teams collaborate. Modelers can now define context visually, quickly bringing in new attributes without heavy lifting. Analysts, in turn, get faster access to richer, more relevant data — reduced waiting on lengthy updates or complicated workarounds.

And behind the scenes? It’s just as intelligent. Instead of rebuilding the whole model with every change, only the updated parts are processed. That means faster pipelines, lower overhead, and scalable performance — ready to grow with your needs.

In short: smarter modeling, smoother teamwork, and a system that adapts to your world — not the other way around.

Bring Workday into the Flow: Seamless Integration for Smarter Decisions

Many organizations depend on Workday for critical HR and operational processes but bringing that data into process intelligence has long been a challenge — until now.

With SAP Signavio’s new Workday integration, you can now leverage prebuilt connectors and curated content from SAP Cloud Integration to automatically feed Workday data into your analysis environment.

Plug-and-play content from the SAP Business Accelerator Hub further accelerates time to value, making setup straightforward while expanding your ability to generate deeper, more actionable insights by combining Workday data with your existing process intelligence.

Control access right on the object level and ensure alignment with company policies

With the latest enhancements in SAP Signavio, administrators now gain the power to manage user and group permissions at the object level — enabling tailored access that aligns with enterprise policies and your specific business needs.

Bulk management streamlines administration, while a structured folder hierarchy enhances usability, making it easier for users to navigate and find what they need. And with plans to align the access rights experience across the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite, consistency is set to become a cornerstone of the user journey.

Reduce training times and increase adoption with the improved filtering directly from widgets

The upcoming improvement to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence makes filtering faster, easier, and more intuitive than ever. Building-on top of, and improving a pre-existent feature, now, with a simple right-click on any widget — like selecting a segment in a pie chart — users can instantly apply that selection as a filter across the entire dashboard, a specific page, or just the widget itself.

This streamlined approach not only accelerates analysis but also reduces the learning curve, encouraging broader adoption across teams.

Arriving by the end of H1 2025, it’s a small change with a big impact on how users interact with their data.

Improve security over data by limiting exporting permissions on CSV from Process

In today’s data-driven world, visibility is key — but so is control. SAP Signavio now introduces a new layer of governance: process-level control over CSV data exports. With this capability, Process Managers can decide whether data can be exported from dashboards or investigations, placing that decision exactly where it belongs — at the process level.

This enhancement empowers organizations to enforce tighter data policies and reduce the risk of unintended data exposure. Every widget across every dashboard and investigation within a process is covered, ensuring consistent application of export permissions.

Through a simple toggle in the “Manage Access Rights” settings, CSV download rights can now be enabled or disabled per user group — offering a smarter, more secure way to manage who gets access to what.

Business challenge analysis on a page: Analysis dashboards to support guided process improvement

Even for process experts, knowing where to start to make process improvements can sometimes be a challenging task. The introduction of analysis dashboards to support guided process improvements significantly streamlines this task.

Let’s suppose a process analyst has been tasked with looking more closely into the business challenge of reducing late supplier payments. In analysis dashboards the process analyst not only gets an overview of this specific business challenge: reducing late payments. At a glance they can see the number of invoices paid on time, late invoices, frequent problem areas.

More than that, they can also move seamlessly from analysis to value realization by looking into the top improvement recommendations available, such as monitoring payment blocks and removing these when they are no longer needed.

Reducing late payments is just one typical business challenge. You can now select from several improvement opportunities to address your specific business challenges.

Build comprehensive business cases with persisting filters for value analysis

Value analysis of divisions (an update we released in the last quarter) enables process analysts and process owners to measure the impact of improvement activities for specific business units or divisions, rather than the whole organization. In this release we are pleased to build on this update by releasing persisting filters for value analysis.

Let’s say you do a value analysis for a region like Australia. The filters used in this specific value calculation can be saved and applied to other relevant scenarios. By adding this saved base of different value calculations to SAP Signavio Process Transformation Manager, you can start to combine value analyses as part of building a comprehensive business case, saving time and increasing consistency in the process.

Filters for transformation planning

We are also pleased to introduce filters for the transformation planning. This update is aimed at helping transformation leads and process owners plan the transformation journey for selected organizational units, such as specific plants. This feature allows you to specify a filter for one or more company codes and apply them to the list of available process flows. The resulting list shows available process flows for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition or SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and supports faster and more efficient decision-making.
