Disaster Recovery Services

Disaster Recovery for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is designed to restore the cloud service in case of a disaster related to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and not all the other elements of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition offering like BTP services. The term "disaster" as used in the context of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition offering, describes a catastrophic event causing widespread damage or destruction, typically not restricted to one individual system or landscape, but applying to larger parts of an infrastructure. Therefore, disaster recovery is not intended to resolve outages of isolated systems due to hardware or software incidents (there is not replacement for availability management). Consequently, disaster recovery is intended as a measure to help mitigate risks due to catastrophic failures. A disaster will be declared by SAP. The Disaster Recovery Services are not included in the standard subscription (optional service SKU) and provide the following service SLA, which can be found in the factsheet
