Joule for Developers, ABAP AI capabilities are now available for S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition, version 2025, providing comprehensive support for ABAP Cloud use cases. The release also introduces the first Custom Code Migration capabilities, bringing a powerful suite of AI-assisted capabilities purpose-built for ABAP development and cloud delivery.

What’s Included

This release for Private Cloud delivers AI-powered support for the core development scenarios ABAP developers rely on every day. Key capabilities include:

inline code completion,
ABAP/CDS code explanation,
automated unit test generation for ABAP and ABAP core data services (CDS),
RAP business objects generation,
RAP predictive business logic, and
OData consumption.

Additionally, this release introduces the first wave of Custom Code Migration capabilities, designed to accelerate the move from classic SAP ERP to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Cloud Edition.
