SAP Business AI is advancing its capabilities to seamlessly ingest and extract unstructured data from business documents, while automating document data handling integrated into SAP’s applications.

As part of Sapphire 2025 innovations we are excited to announce a transformative roadmap update for 2025. SAP is launching SAP Document AI, a complete business solution designed specifically for processing business documents. This development goes beyond merely rebranding; it is a refactoring of the product to align with market demands and expectations.

SAP Document AI will build upon the well-established Document Information Extraction Base and Premium editions, preserving their proven capabilities while enhancing efficiency. In addition, later in 2025 we plan to introduce the Premium Plus edition to expand the product's scope, ensuring smooth, out-of-the-box integration across SAP’s portfolio.
