💥What a great start into 2025 💥
We continued to add lots of new features and enhancements to extend existing features with our two January releases. Explore the latest updates in our community news blogs and enjoy watching my top feature highlights for 2024 on YouTube below.
There are two new options available in the monitoring for transformation flows via the data integration monitor:
You can insert a Python operator to transform incoming data with a Python script and output structured data to the next operator with the new Python operator for file based spaces sitting on the object store persistency. The Python script operator is available for code-based transformations leveraging the built-in Python libraries as well as NumPy and Pandas.
If you are using an existing table as the target for your replication flow, this table may contain columns that don't exist in the corresponding source object. Previously, you'd have to remove each of these columns manually in the table editor before you could start you replication flow. Now you can choose to ignore these columns during the replication. The export of replications flows to a CSN/JSON file (and also the import from that file) is now supported from the data builder editors like you know it from other design time artifacts.

As a perquisite you require an entitlement for SAP AI Units and the AI features need to be activated in your SAP Datasphere tenant on the new “Configuration - AI Services” tab.
