I am pleased to announce the launch of our new EGI on SAP Datasphere Core Skills.

The EGI format (Expert Guided Implementation) is a multi-day remote session where participants learn how to complete a defined activity, or gain understanding on a set concept or topic, with experienced SAP service engineers.

In this EGI session we will provide you with a concrete understanding of the use cases for SAP Datasphere and take you through the important features, with the help of expert lead guidance, so that you can see quicker time to value when starting your own project.
You will receive a comprehensive deep dive into SAP Datasphere including the more technical aspects such as system readiness and connectivity options, data provisioning and replication, and much more.

These workshops are available in across multiple regions and delivered in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese language versions.

Prerequisites

The only prerequisites for joining is that you have an active project where you are evaluating use cases for SAP Datasphere in your system environment. We will cover some topics which will be relevant to customers coming from an SAP BW on-premise perspective but mostly the topics covered will be agnostic to your wider SAP landscape if any.
Having an SAP Datasphere tenant would be an advantage, even just a trial system or an active subscription, but this is not mandatory for participation.

If you are bringing your own SAP Datasphere tenant you will need to complete the following tasks in advance as they are not covered in the course

Fulfil all technical prerequisites
Ensure you have correct authorisations and roles assigned before attending

Insights on system readiness, installation and set up of connectivity options, and data integration
Data democratization with tightly integrated SAP analytics solutions
Data modelling – we will look at the data layer / business layer, modelling, and model transfer from SAP BW/4HANA
Data Provisioning and Replication
Space and Usage management
Authorizations
We will take a look at the SAP HANA Database Explorer, and much more

Our aim is that through the course of these enablement sessions we will help you understand key concepts and see quicker time to value when adopting SAP Datasphere.
