Were you also struggling to subscribe to the SAP Build Work Zone Standard Edition on April 26, 2025? I finally managed to add the service—here's how!
I detailed below how to make it happen.

General Process
Here are the steps we will follow:
- Include a service to authorize program access.
- Add new roles.
- Subscribe to our SAP Build Work Zone, Standard Edition.
Include a service to authorize program access.
Let's add Cloud Identity Services

Click on Go to Application

- Check you email
- Create an account for this service
- Navigate to Identity Providers --> Corporate Identity Providers
- Click on "Create," and name it (e.g., SAP Build Standard).

- Scroll down to the Single Sign-On section to toggle on "Forward All SSO Requests to Corporate IdP"
- Leave this open; we'll return shortly.
Add new roles
This step is straightforward but can be a bit tricky:
Navigate to your subaccount
Go to security --> role collection
Look for "Launchpad Admin", "Subaccount Service Administrator", and "Subaccount Service Viewer"

Assign your user to these three roles
Subscribe to SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition
Now it's time to add the service. Please note, an additional step is required:
- Add the service "SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition"
- Return to Cloud Identity Services.
- Navigate to the Applications & Resources --> bundled applications.
- Select SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition (trial)
- In the trust section, toggle on "Trust All Corporate Identity."

Fingers crossed, everything should now work smoothly!
If you encounter any issues, here's an alternative approach:
- Go to the Global Account → Booster.
- Search for an application like "SAP Build App" and execute it.
- If another user is created, assign the previously mentioned roles and retry.
I hope this helps you all!
