SAP Analytics Cloud Import Connection to SAP SuccessFactor.

This blog provides the configuration steps to establish the integration between SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Log into SAP SuccessFactors.


• Go to Admin Center > Company Settings > Manage OAuth2 Client Applicationsand select + Register Client Application.

         

 

• Generate the X.509 certificate.
  The application name can be freely chosen (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud), however the application URL should be the SAP Analytics Cloud Tenant URL.

           

• Set CN name for the X-509 certificate to be generated and click generate

           

 

• Download the X509 certificate before clicking generate , after downloading, click generate.

           

         

 

• Make a note of API Key


• Login to SAP Analytics Cloud, Navigate to Connection in Menu.

         

 

• Select the SuccessFactors in Import Connection and Complete all the information required in SAP Analytics Cloud

         

• URL: you can extract this information from the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite documentation.

Note: Remove the /odata/v2/ form the URL.

• User ID: User account able to query SAP SuccessFactors.


• API Key: Obtained from the registered client for SAP BusinessObjects Cloud. It is also called API Key in SAP SuccessFactors.


• Private Key: this is the .pem certificate that you downloaded from the registered client.


• Company ID: this is your SuccessFactors company ID.

           

 

         

 

• Once the connection gets created successfully, you can create models based on data in SuccessFactors.
