We are thrilled to announce the latest value accelerator release for SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. This new value accelerator helps customers improve the overall manufacturing process in SAP Digital Manufacturing by providing a quick start to process mining. By leveraging the accelerator, customers can obtain greater visibility and transparency into their end-to-end manufacturing processes, right down to a granular event level.
Focusing meticulously on Shop-Floor-Control (SFC), assembly events and production events, the accelerator reveals metrics around rework and yield rates – insights that are pivotal in identifying potential areas of cost savings throughout the manufacturing process.
In line with the objective of enabling faster time-to-insight, the newly-minted accelerator addresses standard process mining use cases, including cycle times reduction and accuracy in conformance checks, and allows for and deep dive investigations into the reasons for non-conformance.

- Seamless integration: An easily-configured ODATA connection works together with the transformation logic to provide relevant information in pre-populated dashboards, ready for analysis.
- Bottlenecks identification: Visualization of end-to-end manufacturing processes means customers can see which process steps require rework, which elements take the longest time to complete, and more. Together, these capabilities help calculate the potential savings of any process changes – without impacting production.
More specifically, the value accelerator provides prebuilt data transformation templates, metrics template and dashboard template allowing users to analyse their manufacturing process execution faster and with less efforts. The dashboard covers the high level KPIs and deep dive widgets to uncover the root cause of process challenges, as well as hidden optimization potential.
