Introduction
What are the steps to implement the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations -part of the SAP S/4HANA capabilities used- in your live SAP S/4HANA system?
First, access the SAP S/4HANA recommendations in your SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition (Start -> Long-term improvements to plan -> SAP S/4HANA capabilities).
Note: These SAP S/4HANA recommendations are part of the overall Innovation Recommendations. You can read more about how to understand the relevance and the sorting of these recommendations in Blog 7 of this series.
Once you accessed this overview, the next step is to click on the recommendation (in this case, Sales Master Data Management):
Access Innovations
Next, you will be directed to the industry solution portfolio, where you need to scroll down to information about innovations (see screenshot below).
You can review all the new innovations introduced throughout the years in case you update your system until the latest version (2023).

The benefits describe what you will gain by implementing this capability. Depending of the development progress of this capability, more information may be available, such as “Features”, “Technical View” and “Capability View”.
