Introduction

SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition is the starting point to your transformation journey. Whether you want to move towards SAP S/4 HANA, want to explore SAP Signavio as a solution, or improve your process with SAP innovations, SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition is by your side.

How to request SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition

In order to request your analysis, it is important that you follow the instructions of the How-to Guide provided on https://url.sap/discovery-edition.

The How-to Guide is a step-by-step guide and provides a detailed overview on the necessary actions to request SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition.

But before you start, please make sure to fulfill the technical prerequisites:

Request Process Overview

Once you ensured you fulfil these prerequisites, the following overview is a summary of the four steps involved in the request process.

1. Extract the relevant data

• Implement the necessary SAP Note 2758146 and SAP Note 2745851
• Run transaction "SA38" in your productive system, enter the report name: RC_VALUE_DISCOVERY_COLL_DATA

2. Now you are ready to Request your Analysis

Once you have fulfilled all required steps, you are now ready to create a request on https://url.sap/discovery-edition

After clicking on ‘Get started now’, fill out the form and upload the ZIP file you extracted in the previous steps (please do not change the content of any file).

Once done, press the ‘Submit’ button. Within a couple of minutes, you will receive an automatic email to confirm your request.

3. Confirm your request

Once you submitted your request (Step 2), you will automatically receive an email asking your to confirm your request. This is for GDPR regulation and ensure that the person, who requested the analysis has indeed access to the inbox where the analysis will be sent.

You need to click on this button for SAP to generate and send you your analysis.

4. Access the Analysis

After approximately 5 business days, you will receive an email titled “Activate Your Account for SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition” from "ias@notifications.sap.com". Why? We set up an account for you in the SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition solution and ask you to activate it by opening the link in this email.

Once you clicked on the account activation button you will be redirected to a new page on your web browser where you need to enter your details (email address and a password of your own choosing) to create an account. Once completed you will have access to SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition analysis.

In parallel, you will receive an email from SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition with information on how to leverage your analysis. This email also contains a link to the Get-Started Guide and and your tailor-made PDF Executive Summary in the attachement.

Getting Started Guide

In case you have just received your SAP Signavio Process insights, discovery edition analysis and want to get started - the Get-Started Guide is your backup document. It covers important topics such as how to access the analysis and how to add users. It then provides a comprehensive overview on reviewing your analysis and outlines next steps on how to continue your journey with SAP Signavio.

Involve experts from your organization

Depending on what you want to achieve with the analysis, we recommend inviting different people to the system to get the most value from it by including various areas of expertise and expanding your perspectives.

For example, if your process improvement project spans multiple departments, it's beneficial to appoint a project lead to manage coordination and alignment among stakeholders. If you're using SAP Signavio Process Insights, discovery edition in conjunction with an existing project like an SAP S/4HANA implementation, integrating it into the current project structure is advisable for better synergy and effectiveness.

Add other Users

By clicking on ‘User management’ you can add in the left menu. In the new page, click on the “Invite User” button located on the top-right corner.
