Have you ever been stuck in a process and wished help was available? You may have wanted to find help specific to the screen you were on in the SAP Integration Suite. Well, we've got great news for you!
Introducing Contextual Help on SAP Integration Suite
SAP Integration Suite offers many integrations and extensions through integration flows, APIs, Open Connectors, and more. We understand that these can be complex scenarios, and we know how important it is to have help readily available.
That's why we've introduced contextual help in SAP Integration Suite.
This means that on many screens, you can access immediate assistance and find links to relevant documentation that can help you when you're stuck or want to learn more about a specific topic.
Accessing Contextual Help
So, how do you access this help? It's as simple as clicking a button!
Go to your tenant and look for the icon in the top toolbar. When you click on it, a panel will open up on the right side of the screen.
In this panel, you'll find different sections of information. Each section is associated with specific elements on the screen, and you'll see ? icons that represent these elements.
Contextual Help Elements
If you choose any icons, a bubble of information opens up. It would look like this:
Click on any of these icons, and the bubble of information that opens provides basic details about the element and a link to documentation for further exploration.
This helpful feature is available on multiple screens, allowing you to learn more about the functionality of different elements and how to use them effectively.
Take a Tour
But that's not all! On certain screens, you can also take advantage of guided tours. To access them, simply click on the icon in the help panel.
On the guided tours section, you'll find a variety of tours that can help you navigate processes or familiarize yourself with specific screens. Just choose the tour you're interested in, and it will guide you through the process steps or highlight important features on the screen.
The tour starts with a Tour Overview, and then you are guided through different aspects of the process by choosing the clickable options (for example, Start in this screenshot) on the screen:
When the tour ends, you will see a Finish button:
Now, you can continue using the SAP Integration Suite with confidence, knowing that you have access to both guided tours and contextual help for a seamless experience.
