This document provides clarification about the maintenance of SAP BW/4HANA, business consolidation add-on and its positioning in the context of SAP's portfolio for corporate close (consolidation).

• SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting is SAP’s strategic solution for corporate close (consolidation).


• SAP BW/4HANA, business consolidation add-on (software component BCS4HANA) is in maintenance mode. The time horizon for mainstream maintenance of BCS4HANA is aligned with the time horizon for mainstream maintenance of its underlying technology platform – SAP BW/4HANA.
