Excited to introduce the new feature from SAP Content Agent UI to automate the destination configuration for SAP BTP services that previously required manual efforts.
Content Agent uses authentication to Cloud Foundry API endpoint by requesting the user to login to the environment. With this, it creates relevant service instance and service key and sets up the required destination configuration in the source SAP BTP account.
As a content developer working with various SAP BTP services, you need to perform various configuration tasks and it involves going through tedious documentation and various blogs. It requires a lot of manual effort and is often time-consuming and error-prone.
To help customers onboard easily with Content Agent, the UI now offers creating destinations with an automated procedure to enable integration to SAP BTP services.
From a security aspect, this feature helps customers and partners to regularly rotate service instance credentials saved in the specific destination.
1. Access Content Types: Navigate to the Content Agent overview screen and Click on "Content Types" to view the list of available content types.
2. Activate Content Type: Click "Activate Content Type". Select the desired content type from the dropdown (SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, Role Collections).
3. Login to Your Account: Choose your login method. Ensure the Cloud Foundry URL and SAP BTP extension landscape URL are consistent. You can select either Credential for the Cloud Foundry environment or Passcode to obtain a temporary token and use it to log in.
4. Proceed to Environment Screen: Click "Next Step" and enter Cloud Foundry environement details. The org is pre-selected. Select your space from the Cloud Foundry Space dropdown.
5. Review Details: Click "Next Step" to review the environment and service details. If needed, click "Previous Step" to edit the details.
6. Start Process: Click "Start Process" to create the destination for the content type.
