Like many organisations we are planning our laptop/desktop estate migration to Windows 10 and Office 2016, SAP is a very key system in our organisation so we gathered the list of SAP products and their supported patch level/service packs.

Hopefully this is useful for others....

  • Office 365/Office 2016

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/722513

= Supported as of SAP GUI 7.40 Patch Level 5

  • Windows 10 OS

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/66971

= Supported as of SAP GUI 7.40 Patch Level 4

  • SAP and Internet Browser

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1672817

SAP are basically saying they will support the latest browser (currently IE 11) on Windows 10 but with  a caveat that a minimum SAP server SPS (support pack) is required at SAP server side. NOTE: They do not yet stipulate what this SPS level is.

  • SAP Single Sign-on 2.0

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2197837

= Supported as of SAP Single Sign on 2.0 Support Pack 6

NOTE: This should be upgraded on clients and each SAP server to keep them in sync.

  • SAP GUI Deployment Server

= Supported as of 9.0.56.0 but bug fix in 9.0.66.0, at time of writing latest is 9.0.68.0

Happy upgrading everyone!
