Works Great! I created the wedi view as you adviced! I like to compare this stack to wamp where this stack is Windows Orion only. Thanks to your encouragement I am investing heavily into Java development using this SAP Wedi PE instead of LAMP or MERN. I have a local instance of NPL minisap which I prefer much better than SAP's promoted HANA Express etc. I am staying close to the ABAP SAPUI5 stack and now I'm committing to WEDI Java and finally upgrading to the SAPGUI for Java using 7.70 over SAPGUI 7.6. I'm gonna use 7.7 to log into my NPL local instance. Please don' hesitate to get in touch with me I'm removing myself from ECC into full fledge S4 HANA BTP plarform albeit I remain firmly supportive of ECC clients. my email is jameskchau@me.com (my SAP UID)

good grief, SAPGUI 7.7 hung up my NPL local instance!! good thing I was able to cold restart with nothing lost on my NPL VM. For the time being I am still a fan of Windows VMware VM, I got really spooked by the disastrous SAP A4H Docker Container failure which disappeared as quickly as it started, I believe the container technology is not a good fit for SAP. BTW, I am very much against screen shots that are not targeted to screens or steps.

Dear Experts,

I installed the local webide but I need to add a common library to be able to run some HCM fiori apps.

BTP webide has the feature "add reference to library" but I don't see such feature on local webide and thus I can not run the fiori apps from the local webide.

Have you experienced this issue as well on you side ?

Thx for helping me.

Hi Marc,

local webide is more then deprecated.
You will hardly get support here for this.

Please use Trial with BAS and ABAP Platform.

Cheers
