I thought to write something which is not covered yet in Google. Lately, while working on a report where one formula is used multiple times an interview question pops up in my mind that what is the difference between formula and variable.
Benefit of variable:
Easy to understand & recognize.
Change is at one place and reflects everywhere in the report.
Maintenance efforts are less in case of future change.
Variable is manadatory to create detail variable.
