Defining Selection Variants for Shipments

You will explore how to define selection criteria for selecting deliveries to be assigned to a shipment.

You can select deliveries, for example, according to shipping point, due date, and status of the delivery. “Delivery” means return deliveries or incoming deliveries. this selection variant sets the criteria for deliveries to be added to the transport and makes it work faster

First, changes can be made to an existing shipment type or a new shipment type can be defined here

Enter the relevant shipment type with double click

After making the relevant configurations in the shipment type, go to the proposal section at the bottom

enter a variant name for the new variant to be created and click maintain

After clicking maintain, the following screen will open. here you can create a variant for the deliveries to be connected to the shipment. it can be created by giving data such as shipping point, loading point, loading date …

In addition, if “include deliveries in proceed shipment” is checked, the delivery to be connected to the shipment will be automatically assigned according to the selected criteria.

But if a condition is written behind the shipping exits, it will be assigned directly to the shipment without detecting it. for example; if the delivery is in credit blockage and a code is written that a delivery in credit blockage should not be assigned to shipping, it will not enter this code and will pass directly to the assigned side.

this credit blockage may cause problems by being noticed in the following processes. or if the delivery that is automatically assigned is pulled back to the not assgined lower part and assigned to the upper part again, the error written in the exit can only be noticed in that way and this will cause a big waste of time.

if “include deliveries in proceed shipment” is not checked, the delivery will appear below as unassigned. and can be assigned with user control

In addition, Ovrl Goods Mvt Sts and or transportation planning status can be included in the variant by giving an additional filter here.

if we want to make a field mandatory in the variant selection, click on the attributes button

description is entered and we can check which fields should be mandatory in the delivery selection screens.

When the shipment creation screen is checked again, it can be seen that the field selected in the selection variant is mandatory.

additionally created variants can be seen in the selection variant section of the VT01N input screen
