Who, at least once in their life, hasn’t wished to meet a superhero? Well… it happened to me.
And the incredible part? I didn’t meet just one, but many.

This is the story of my journey to Berlin, an adventure that changed me, moved me, reminded me who I am.
This is the story of my SAP TechEd 2025.
It all began months ago, when I received the news: I had won a ticket. I still remember that moment. A mix of disbelief and pure joy.
My heart racing. “This can’t be real…” I thought. But it was. Beautifully, unexpectedly real.
I was so happy I started counting the days like a child waiting for Christmas.
But life, sometimes, has other plans.
Over the last months I went through difficult moments, the kind that drain your energy and steal your voice. Family struggles that made everything heavier.
For a while, I was certain I wouldn’t make it. That I would have to let that dream slip away.
Until a month ago, I kept thinking: I won’t be able to go. Then something inside me whispered: Try.
And here I am.
I told you about superheroes…Because honestly, what else should I call them? @qmacro @RichHeilman @thomas_jung @OlgaDolinskaja @Vitaliy-R Some of them I’ve been following in the SAP Community for 20 years.
Like a kid with posters of their idols on the bedroom wall.
If I love my job today, a big part of it is thanks to them. They inspired me, even from afar. Their passion, their knowledge, their generosity, all seeds that grew into my own path.
And when you finally meet them in person… you feel small. Really small. Like an ant standing near kind giants. 😍
A special mention also goes to my beloved ABAP. Someone said it would disappear, end up forgotten like a language from the past…Meanwhile, it simply smiled and proved everyone wrong.
It’s still here. More powerful than ever.
And being able to use it in a modern environment like Visual Studio Code? Pure excitement for every developer heart that still beats for code.
Berlin was breathing the future. Artificial Intelligence everywhere, but not abstract, not distant.
Real. Tangible. Finally programmable.
With Joule Agents and SAP Build, we can create smart automations directly from our development environment.
And that was my biggest spark: AI is no longer an experiment.
It’s no longer “somewhere in the future.” It’s here.
It’s in our hands as developers, ready to turn ideas into real solutions.
And for those of us who build software every day, that means only one thing: limitless possibilities.
But the best part was the people. The real ones.
The ones you’ve known for years through comments, chats, usernames… and finally get to hug in person.
Like my friend @moshenaveh , whom I finally met face to face. 😊
And the incredible energy of @david_ruizb , the kindness of @MariettaLopez , the smiles of @Sandra_Solis , @lauraschmitz , @StephanieMarley @MustafaBensan … and so many others.
People who look at you and make you feel part of something bigger. A family you didn’t even know you had, until you find yourself inside it. I came back from Berlin different. More teary-eyed than photographed. More inspired than organized. With this growing desire to create, share, build… and hopefully inspire others, the way they inspired me.
Because I finally realized this:
Superheroes don’t fly.
They don’t wear capes.
They don’t have magic powers.
At least… not the kind we imagine. Real superheroes are the ones who light a spark in your eyes and make you say:
“If you believe in it, you can do it.”
