Announcing the @ASUG_BI 2017 Survey Results

The ASUG BI Community thanks you for completing the survey.  We continue to reach out to our ASUG Members to better understand where ASUG can help and how we are doing in delivery to your educational, networking and SAP influence requirement.  In this latest survey we asked for your feedback on 2017 and what we needed to strive for in 2018.  This year we created new survey questions.  Back in October I provided preliminary updates on the survey, and below is the final result.

You can see from the above that Web Intelligence is the top client used.  It will be featured at the February BI+Analytics Conference - be sure to check out the agenda.  Additionally I am grateful that SAP's pascal.gaulin will present on February 14 How to Become a Visualization Guru: Tips & Tricks on Web Intelligence Charts

For sure the BI+Analytics Conference in February will cover many of the topics above and so will ASUG Annual Conference in June.

Q: Do you have plans to move BI into the Cloud?


 



 

In the responses, some said they have already moved to the cloud.



On May 7th, ASUG is planning to re-launch the ASUG Analysis Influence Council, and we'll be recruiting at ASUG Annual Conference.

2018 SAPPHIRENOW and ASUG Annual Conference

 

We have over 50 BI/BW/HANA sessions planned for ASUG Annual Conference as well as a community meet up in the ASUG area on the floor, and some great round table sessions.    The list will be finalized in early February and the  agenda updated.   There are preliminary plans for a BI pre-conference planned this year that you can attend on Monday June 4th, and we hope to see you there.
