As part of the August 2024 release, the "Import data from SAP EHS Management Application" was deprecated. SAP facilitated the import functionality in the "Manage ESG Data" application. This addendum outlines the process steps involved in importing emission data from SAP EHS Management, Environment Management into SAP Sustainability Control Tower (SCT) using the "Manage ESG Data" application.
This blog content is a continuation of my previous blog, i.e.
In this blog, we will collect and calculate Scope1, Scope2 and Scope3 emissions data for the months of July and August 2024 using SAP EHS Management, Environment Management. We will then import the calculated emission data into SAP SCT using the "Manage ESG Data" application.
Let us get started...
Collect the data using the "My Data Collections" application, In SAP EHS Management, Environment Management.
After collecting the data, let us look at an overview of the collected data chart,
Now, let us calculate the emissions based on the collected data for the months of July and August 2024.
Now, let us Import the calculated emission data using the "Manage ESG Data" application.
To import emission data, select the measure "CO2e Emissions" and choose the option "Import from SAP EHS Management"
Input the Month and Year,
Once the system validates the imported data, and if no validation errors are found, we can proceed to "Publish". If there are any errors, the data needs to be revisited and imported again.
Once the data is published, we can view the emission data using the "View Emissions Dashboard" application.
I hope my blog proves useful. If you would like to keep up on SAP Sustainability Control Tower and SAP EHSM Environment Management updates, follow me on SAP community and LinkedIn.
