Hi,
I am setting up pre-requisite master data before replicating transaction data from S/4. I have manually uploaded a entry for legal entity and business location to match with S/4 org. structure. When I run "review the results" step, I am getting following error message. It indicates that I need to maintain valid from/valid to dates in YYYY-MM-DD format, and I have maintained accordingly. Please see attached screen shots. Have you seen this error during your master data set up? If yes, appreciate if you can share your observations.
Thanks
Gopal

Hi Gopal,
to me it looks like there is an issue with the setup of the standard organizational structures in your system. In a nutshell:
1. Upload org structure
2. create snapshot
3. Upload actuals / period specific data
Please find more info here: https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_SUS_SCT/fb87312681e94455b9f61c3b8fe83404/a06579224bdb4b518372124a445d4...
If you're still struggling - it would be best to open a support incident for this.
Best regards
Björn

Thank you for your response. However, in this case, I am not working on the demo data set up. I have already loaded demo data.
This master data set up is to test replication of S/4 GL accounts data (Prosperity).
Before replication, I have already uploaded set of GL accounts with transaction data that I need to replicate (data source: S4FINANCE) and also, Account Groups Master data (assignment of GL accounts to demo Account Groups). These steps went well. Now I need to create a business location and legal entity, as these GL accounts belong to a different company code (1701) in YCOA chart of accounts. Note: Demo data comes with 3 legal entities MX001, US001, DE001.
I used the same nodes template to create this manual entry for business location and legal entity. (see attached). When I tried to review the results, system caught this HS PERIOD NOT COVERED error. Thought it has something to do with date format for valid from/valid to. But that was not the case.
I have attached my load templates with data for your reference, just in case. Appreciate if you can provide any inputs. If we were using the same data upload template, should not SCT recognize these entries and add them to the existing legal entities /business locations?
I have already set up snapshot when I installed demo data (per help guide). Do I need to set up another snapshot before loading these entries and before starting S4 replication?
Also, I will raise a separate ticket to resolve this.
Thanks
Gopal

Hi Gopal, how are you? I am pretty sure that you're much ahead on ESG journey while I am a starter. Nevertheless, wish to pose a question, I'm sure it'll look very basic to you.
Context - while trying to upload business location sample file via master data configuration, I'm stuck with the attached error. businesslocerror-1.png
Did you face the same anytime? If you did, can you pls recommend how to resolve?

Hi Debasis,
It look like your load file may have incorrect date format. If I remember correctly, there is something about that date format that will trigger the error that you are getting. I have attached screen shots that shows the date formats that I have used. So play around those dates/format (as expected by DPI) and it should work.
