We have installed SuPM.
We created 2 users, one a copy of the other so with the exact same roles and authorisations.
If we logon with one of these users, the system performs very fast, so no problems.
If we logon with the other user, it takes very long time to get into SuPM and also within the application actions (like selecting the KPI library, etc) are very slow and not workable.
We created several other users, some having the central reporting role, others with only the basic roles, but all users except 1 have these performance problems. So we cannot use the system at this moment!
When a user logs on to SuPM several calls are executed. We can see that the 4th call (RS_BCT_XA_X_OBJECT_GETDETAIL) takes a lot of time with all users except with the one user that has no performance problems.
After upgrade to 2.0, the following notes were also implemented on the system:
1550350, 1555593, 1562765, 1566533

R Veekens,
First, what version of SuPM are you on? When you created the roles in the BW backend system, (transaction SPRO) did you check the Multi User box?
Are there any error messages in the log files?

Bob

Hello Veekens,
A similar issue has been resolved and delivered in the SP02 of v2.0. Have you installed SP02?
If not, you can confirm after installing the same.

Mithun.

Hello,
These issues usually occur when the datasources have not been properly refreshed.
Can you try the below steps and see if tis solves the issue.
Run the query, /SRB/M001_A001_QR001 in RSRT transaction. Check if there are any errors
Activate any multi-providers if you have created.
Reload application
Before re-loading the application, refresh all datasources by going to the following path in the SuPM portal
goto Application setup --> Datasource administration --> Click on refresh datasources button
