API_FINPLAN_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMS_SRV not on API Business Hub

API_FINPLAN_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMS_SRV plays an important role in the Product Carbon Footprint Analytics Architecture. Unfortunately it is not present on the API Business Hub.

When will you make it available on api.sap.com for exploration and documentation?

The API_FINPLAN_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMS_SRV was created specifically for usage within SAC for the planning and PCFA scenario.

We have decided to not publish it. Please have a look at BAPI’s of business object 2044, e.g. BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_GETDETAIL or BAPI_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMIZATION.

Sorry for posting late on this thread, I am trying to use API_FINPLAN_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMS_SRV to extract Product Cost to SAC. However the Import job does not execute. Do we need to have a dedicated OData service for this API ?

Do any Parameters need to be passed to see the results? In S/4 end on SAP Gateway I am able to see the metadata but

/sap/opu/odata/sap/API_FINPLAN_COSTESTIMATE_ITEMS_SRV/CostEstimateItemSet/Results?

does not bring up any data. Please suggest what settings are needed to use this API?

What is the background of not publishing this? Like you mentioned, the API is used in SAC Planning as well as the Carbon Footprint Analysis in SAC. Both of them very valuable scenarios and worth publishing to my opinion.

Hi, everybody,

I am currently dealing with the topic SAP Carbon Footprint "Climat 21". I would like to know how the master data is maintained in S4/HANA? Which tables and possibly which fields must be picked up or maintained in S4HANA? I have not found any information on this so far, with API's also not documented.
Do you have any further documents on this?
