Our organisation has developed a number culturally appropriate activities for working with First Nations people, and as such need to be able to capture specifically if someone identifies as Indigenous whether they are Australian Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, or both. As this is the standard breakdown for Indigenous reporting as per the Australian Bureau of Statistics, we found that infotype 0619 only allows for Indigenous, non-Indigenous, or Choose not to give this information as responses. Has anyone found a way to overcome this misalignment with the standard?
