SAP has been named a leader in the first-ever IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Carbon Accounting and Management Applications 2024 Vendor Assessment. A once nascent market, carbon accounting and management is experiencing a significant transition in the number, type, and capability of solutions available.

Organizations are under increasing pressure to track and disclose carbon emissions data to stakeholders including investors, partners, clients, customers, employees, and regulators. Many are collecting data and reporting on Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Scope 3 remains a challenge due to the complexity of reliable data collection and reporting.

SAP is uniquely positioned to provide organizations with data-driven, purpose-specific carbon management solutions that are ERP centric, cloud based, and AI enabled. These include SAP Sustainability Footprint Management, SAP Sustainability Control Tower, SAP Sustainability Data Exchange, the SAP S/4HANA Cloud solution for EHS environment management, and SAP Green Ledger, which all help to enable carbon accounting and management on a transactional level and transform emissions tracking processes.

Partners: let's race together towards end-to-end carbon Management.

Inspired by the Olympics, we are inviting SAP Partners to onboard our #RaceToEnd2EndCarbonManagement series where we will recap on the latest on strategy and innovation presented at SAPPHIRE, highlight how your race to carbon management starts with the ERP, then pass the baton (= data) to SAP Sustainability solutions, running towards SAP Green Ledger, where carbon accounting happens.

Hi Damien,

Thanks and nice to know about this new series. The link to the sessions on 'ESG reporting to cover CSRD' & 'SAP Business AI for Sustainability', don't seem to be working, or don't have the right Tag yet. I also can't find them. Do you have the actual link? Thanks!

Green regards, Erik

Hi @ErikGouw, thank you for your note! The link for these two sessions ('ESG reporting to cover CSRD' & 'SAP Business AI for Sustainability') is correct (basically filtering the partner calendar by keyword 'RaceToEnd2EndCarbonManagement') but, it should take a few more days for these two events to appear behind the link. We will move these two sessions to the "To be announced" paragraph in the interim. Thanks a lot for the heads-up.
