SAP recently announced our third quarter results, reporting a strong quarter with double digit growth leading in cloud and in-memory technology.  With an increase of 13% in Software and Cloud subscription revenue and a 15% increase in profit, the company reiterated its full year outlook. Co-CEOs Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe said, "We now are the second largest enterprise cloud company with an annual cloud revenue run rate
exceeding €1 billion. We continue to gain market share and grow significantly faster than our primary competitor in all regions.” For a detailed report on

This past quarter we also announced our NYC high school in partnership with the Department of Education and CUNY at a press conference in the City in August. The school was one of 16 winners in a statewide competition to form public-private partnerships that will provide nearly 6,000 students with a high
school diploma, college degree and pathway to a job, according to an announcement from the governor’s office. The school is set to launch in fall 2014 and will open in Queens.  Under the program, students will receive training for jobs in the technology sector, can earn an associate’s degree at no cost, and get an opportunity to land jobs when they graduate.  Coverage of the announcement was featured in Bloomberg Business Week, CNBC.com, and the Wall Street Journal among others.

Finally, last week at our SAP TechEd conference, the largest technical education conference with more than 6,000 participants,SAP partnered with ExpertIG to launch its Mobile Apps for Charity initiative. The initiative is an opportunity for professionals within the SAP community to come together and make a positive impact on the people and initiatives that charitable organizations support with the help of mobile technology from SAP. Attendees signed up for the
efforts at the event. With volunteers of all kinds, ExpertIG will lead teams in the development of apps to help charities operate better. Over the course of
the next few months, volunteer teams will be formed, followed by the creation of the apps that will be showcased at SAPPHIRE NOW in 2014. See more at: http://www.news-sap.com/mobile-apps-4-charity-kick-off-at-sap-teched-las-vegas/#sthash.KoZgRYJy.dpuf
