Through SAP Technology Donations, nonprofit organizations around the world have access to SAP's leading analytics software to help them better understand their organization, engage volunteers, optimize fund raising campaigns, assess community impact and effectively report results to key stakeholders.
SAP Lumira is used by organizations to analyze data coming from multiple sources by creating and sharing graphical data visualizations (, solution brief). Nonprofit organizations may license SAP Lumira at no cost. With Lumira your staff can:
- Pull data from enterprise and personal sources, enhance it using geolocation and time dimensions, and further manipulate by point-and-click without support from IT
- Quickly create visualizations to convey insights about your organization, donors and community impact
- Surface patterns and relationships, identify trends, show the big picture or drill into the details
- Share visualizations with staff, volunteers and external stakeholders via the Lumira cloud

Lumira Marathon
Each year SAP employees work with our nonprofit partners around the world during the annual SAP Month of Service to make an impact in our local communities. This year, in addition to our typical service projects we are offering a special “Lumira Marathon” on Friday, November 1st in our Palo Alto office where our analytics experts will be partnered with select nonprofits from the Bay Area to setup Lumira, build a data visualization that will convey insights on a topic of your choosing and do knowledge transfer at the end of the day. By participating this event your organization will be able to quickly ramp up on Lumira.
