WT quantity for staging not equal to quantity set up in packaging specification

Hi EWM experts,

when executing the crate part replenishment for a PSA customers requirement is that the picking quantity in the WT is the same as in the Packaging Specification. So I set the target qty in the PS at a qty of 100. When executing the /SCWM/REPL for crate part the system correctly (due to the PSA settings) suggests the repl.qty 200:

But when I create the WT(s) the system creates them based on the pallet qty available in the warehouse (e.g. one WT for 150 EA and one WT for 50 WT).

Is it possible, that the system creates two WTs based on the packaging specification qty?

I have already tried to set up the determination reccord based on packing profile but unfortunately the system then won't replenish.

Can someone help me with this issue?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

Hi Juergen,

thank you very much for your fast reply. Okay, maybe I should explain it more in detail:

We have two boxes at the PSA. Those boxes need to be filled up with each 100 pieces. Now I want to system to create two WTs based on the pack specs.

But as far as I do understand you, the quantity in the bin needs to be equal to the quantity in the pack spec!?

Best regards

Hi,

"when executing the crate part replenishment for a PSA customers requirement is that the picking quantity in the WT is the same as in the Packaging Specification. So I set the target qty in the PS at a qty of 100."

"But when I create the WT(s) the system creates them based on the pallet qty available in the warehouse (e.g. one WT for 150 EA"

Do you see where the problem in these two sentences is? You describe that you have a packaging specification with a quantity of 100. But it seems in one bin you have 150 pieces. How does that fit together? (or rather not fit together)

Brgds

Juergen
