WT for SCARP Zone not getting created upon partial rejection at Quality Inspection

I have setup a POSC with below steps:

Unload - Deconsolidation - Quality Inspection - Final Putaway.

Case 1: I had created a delivery with 10 Qty and packed 10 Qty in one HU. During the quality inspection, if I reject the HU with 10 Qty then WT is getting created to SCRAP Zone. So this is working fine as expected.

Case 2: I had created a delivery with 10 Qty and packed 10 Qty in one HU. During deconsolidation process, I had split into 2 HU's where each will have 5 Qty.

Now during quality inspection, If I accept the 1st HU then WT is getting created for final Putaway BIN. And If I reject the 2nd HU during quality then WT should get created for SCRAP zone as like above scenario. But Putaway WT is getting created for final bin with stock type S5.

Please help me as why its not triggering the WT for scrap zone.

Hi, first of all, IOT4 ( QIS ) can be carried at object type ( product ). so, you need to take the decision at product level. BR, C K Reddy

Correct, I have taken quality decision by clicking on product only. I had accept the products that belongs to 1st HU and for that putaway WT got created to final bin. Then I rejected the products that belongs to 2nd HU. So for this WT should be created for SCRAP Zone. But was not getting created and instead putaway WT was getting created to final bin.

Later this issue has been fixed by changing the value to 2 (Posting Change Never in Storage Bin (Create Warehouse Order)) for the field post change in bin at WPT 4020.

I have similar problem here but a little bit more complex. I have predefined the WPT for inbound delivery. Once the UD is made, system will use the predefined the WPT for putaway unrestricted use or putaway to quarantine. For decision of scrap, I try to use WPT 4020 to putaway to scrap-zone, unfortunately it is always reported the error "Target stock attributes does not match target default values".

Currently we have set the following up actions without WPT thus system automatically posts the stock to S5. I will prefer to have system auto-create the WT to scrap zone use designed WPT 4020.

The quality inspection workcenter storage type has been defined to "Always Post in BIN" and destination scrap zone also defined same for Posting Change. WPT 4020 has been defined to "Posting Change Never in Storage Bin (Create Warehouse Order)".

The config help for Maintain Follow-up Action says:

• Warehouse Process Type: If the stock is not inbound delivery stock, or if the Process type of the delivery has not been set, a warehouse task with this warehouse process type is created for the inspected stock.

I am not sure whether it is associated with WPT predefined thus I removed pre-definition as well, but I get the exact same error.

Please help to indicate what could be the root cause.
