WPT for Physical Inventory

Hello Expert,

As per SAP help below Warehouse Process Categories & Activities are permitted in SAP.

But while trying to create WPT for Physical Inventory activities getting below error.

Since WPC has option 1,2,3 & 7 only in standard. Is it possible to add one more WPC like 4-Physical Inventory?

two things

1- We don't really need WPT for physical inventory. Why do you need to setup WPT for physical inventory?

System just creates WO once physical inventory document is created (activated). This WO has all the physical inventory documents reference inside it.

Second:

You can only choose one out of below 4 options while creating/changing WPT.

Sometimes, documentation written are NOT correct, thanks.

Hi Aslam,

If you observe your screen shot then WO have field called Hdr WPT so ideally we should able to create WPT for Physical Inventory as well.

It has wave number also.

It does not mean that I can assign wave to physical inventory WO 🙂
