Dear Experts,
I have a requirement in my current project as part of which i need some understanding of how Aggregation & Disaggregation works at different planning levels and also how it can be better used at different dimensions.
I have 6 planning levels which can be logically divided into two different dimensions (Product & Location dimension).
For example: Hierarchy in the mentioned order as mentioned below for both dimensions.
Product Dimension:
1) Product type
2) Product Group
3) Product
Location Dimension:
1) Region
2) Subregion
3) Distribution Center
Scenario:
Region(Reg1) is allocated with 3products (P1, P2, P3 with quantity 200, 200, 400 respectively). Total 800.
Region quantity to be further distributed to Subregions (Subreg1, Subreg2)
If i select Reg1 directly without selecting Product, And disaggregate the quantity at subregion level to maintain 300, 500 each at total product level without selecting individual products. My requirement is it should adjust the products based on proportions for each subregion continuing to maintain the product ratio (quantity) same at region level.
But, its noticed that change at subreg level is disturbing the Product ratio at aggregate level at region. Its not 200, 200, 400 as it was before changes at subregion level.
Please let me know if anyone has come across the similar requirement / scenario earlier.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Please verify if the Calculation type in "Key figure Aggregation" tab of Planning Area settings is maintained appropriately. (Ex: Pro-rata should help in proportional distribution).
Also verify if the CVC combinations are correct and linked with each other across the planning levels.
Thanks & Regards,
Hussain, Mohammad
