WM HU Printing on different GR AREA

my client has several physical warehouses that are all attached to the same EWM warehouse.

I would like to be able to use multiple print queues, but in Output Parameter Determination, I can only indicate the Storage Bin level.

However, all receipts for a document type are only processed on one Storage Bin.

What are SAP's recommendations for being able to print on multiple GR AREAs?

Hi @Eric_SAUTOT ,

it is not really the idea to have multiple physical warehouses assigned to the same 4-digit warehouse number. Of course customers are free to set up their warehouse structure as they like and I also understand that there may be good reasons to do this (e.g. it is only about very small satellite, no delivery papers are required and you just want to move stock there with a warehouse task instead of running a full STO process) but then you must also consider the consequence of this design decision that some of the available configurations and settings might not work as well for you because they are designed to have the warehouse number as a key field to e.g. differentiate where to print.

In your specific case I would have expected that if it is different physical warehouses and still you decided to use the same warehouse number, then at least you would create different goods-receipt zone storage bins to have transparency in the system of the physical location of the stock. Perhaps you could elaborate a bit more why you decided against different goods-receipt zone storage bins or what other kind of information you are currently entering in the system to make transparent which stock is in which warehouse. After all, the system will need some indicator to determine where to print.

Best regards,
Christian

Not sure about official recomendation, but you may include condition to label code - I believe the Warehouses are separated at least at st. type level so include into Label code something like "IF Storage Type XXXX, print XXXX, if Storage type ZZZZ, print ABC"

Also I can see the DLVPPFC is based on HU type / pack mat. combination so if you can define different for each WH it may also solve this... Maybe additional condition there may solve it too?
