Why is the Inventory Recount not in the queue?

Hello everyone,

I tried to recount the physical inventory document. When I am in the RFUI I can't find the warehouse task. The only way to get to the document is by entering the warehouse task number in the RFUI Inventory Section on "Choose Manually". When I check the mon on ressourcemanagement, I can see that the Warehouse task is inside the right queue. There is not other open warehouse task so it should find the inventory document immediatly when getting a task systemwise. In the customizing I have made the right settings as well for the recount. When I do the normal inventory the task is found with the rfui. Only the recount is the problem. What am I missing? Thanks for the help.

Hi,

your queue determination seems ok (judging from your screenshot). Have you maybe set the flag "Different User to Recount PI Document" in the warehouse related settings?

(Small screenshot, I know).

That should take care that the PI document is not automatically assigned to you, I have not checked if the manually selection is affected by it.

"The only way to get to the document is by entering the warehouse task number in the RFUI Inventory Section "

That is a warehouse order, not a WT.

All the above is no official SAP statement.

Want to learn EWM?

Check for EWM courses: https://training.sap.com/trainingpath/Applications-Extended+Warehouse+Management-EWM+in+S4HANA

Get a SAP Learning Hub Subscription: https://training.sap.com/learninghub

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!

And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hello Juergen,

sorry I forgot the correct name. I knew warehouse task is not correct but didn't remember the correct definition.

I already checked those and there is no check. So that can't be it.

Is it possible that the normal count and the recount need to be in two different queues? I don't think thats needed but have no idea what I am missing.

Kind regards

Hello Juergen,

I have tried it with differenct activity areas as well. Each activity area has it's own inventory area and queue. But even tho they all get into the queues I still can't find them with the RFUI.

Hi j.schw ,

I tried and got the same result. But by searching with the error message I found the following SAP Note: 2953282 - Guided inventory can process 1 document and quits. Need to test this - but somehow I can not implement the note in my system.

Maybe you can try?

Hello Jan,

Have you configured the recount Queue determination?

Hello Norbert,

yes I have. As you can see in the small screenshot I have assigned the same queue for the normal count and the recount.
