Hello, I am new to warehouse management and do not have much knowledge about certain processes. I had some questions about the theory behind packing in transit warehouses. I found that the following actions are not allowed :-
1. Packing of HUs into transit HUs
2. Packing of products into transit HUs (also higher-level)
3. Mix of transit warehouse HUs and normal HUs in HU-hierarchy
All I know about transit HUs is that product master data is not required for processing them, and that they do not contain the details of the HU contents.
I want to know the reason behind this. Why exactly are these actions not allowed?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Awantee Deshpande ,
I hope that this issue is related with design of transit warehousing.
