Why is it possible to change the internal bank, but not the account

In a FI Document, the filed BSEG-HKTID (bank account) is not changeable, while the field BSEG-HBKID (home bank) is changeable on a customer line.

The two field are in the same group for field status management: I checked both the posting key and the account field status, and both the field are optional and displayed. The modification rules also allow for the change of HKTID, without restrictions, but the field remain locked.

The result is that it is impossible to change the home bank on the transaction.

Hi,

I guess you set document chang rule in OB32. But if you want to change BSEG-HKTID  Real Estate have to be active, refer to note 953374.
