The (key and required) Attributes of IBPSOURCEPRODUCTION are LOCID (Location ID), PRDID (Product ID) and SOURCEID (Source ID). However, IBPSOURCEPRODUCTION is not regarded as a Compound Master Data Type, because it does not have Component Master Data Types.

When you create a new Compound Master Data Type in SAP, you will see that it is obligatory to choose at least two Component Master Data Types. In the case of IBPSOURCEPRODUCTION, the three Attributes are merely Assigned Attributes, not Component Master Data Types.

So, the answer lies in the way IBPSOURCEPRODUCTION has been created/defined.

As opposed to Compound Master Data Types there are Simple Master Data Types. Other examples of Simple Master Data Types are IBPPRODUCT (Product), IBPCUSTOMER (Customer), IBPRESOURCE (Resource), or IBPPLANNINGUNIT (Planning Unit). If you try to view or edit them in SAP, you will notice that they all have a series of Assigned Attributes, but no Component Master Data Types.

An example of a general Compound Master Data Type is IBPLOCATIONPRODUCT (Location Product). This master data type is one of the most important in supply planning. When you try to view or edit it in SAP, you will notice that it has a whole series of Assigned Attributes (LOCID, PRDID and FROZENHORIZON, amongst others), and on top of that it has two Component Master Data Types: IBPLOCATION & IBPPRODUCT.

For background reading, there is learning material 'SAP IBP Platform Features and Time Series Based Heuristics' (IBP200), especially chapter 'Master Data Types in Supply Planning in SAP Integrated Business Planning'.
