While creating PR using tcode ME51N an error showing "Name is invalid" for some users.
Request clarification before answering.
Are your users on VMWare GUI or do they have Local SAP GUI ?--Also are using any specific material when this error is happening ?--you want to review the long text and remove any special characters from the long text--also look at --it may resolve by implementing corrections instructions from one of these.

Seems users are doing copy-paste the details in ME51N, It is accepted. but sometimes 'Item text' field or any other free text field will not accept - If the characters starting with special symbols and other reasons..
If the above situation is not valid, Please verify the material master text (MAKTX - if any special symbols exists) also check 'Basic data text' if it exists.

Check whether those usernames starts with some alphabetic and it contains only letters or numbers as explained in the screen shot of SAP help. It seems, you were trying with some invalid username.

Thanks for the response.
The users are not newly created, they are already processing business transactions and even created many PRs, but from last one month they are not able to create. And this error is been facing by some of the users only. And nothing changes has been done in their IDs.
