Which databases are compatible with SAP GBT?

Hi,

A few questions about SAP GBT 2.0 database compatibility (out of HANA) :

- Does SAP GBT is compatible with PostgreSQL /database (and what are the limitation)?

- Can we store the GBT Oracle database on a cloud (and what are the limitation)?

Is there a list of all databases compatible with SAP GBT?

SAP GBT is an add-on, the version you are asking 2.0 is only support until 2020, maybe better to install version 3.0 supported until 2025

you can install Global Batch Traceability in Netweaver 7.4 or 7.5

Netweaver 7.5, you can go to PAM for Netweaver 7.5 and see the list, I attach you one of the most relevant (not PostgreSQL)

• DB2
• MAXDB 64-BIT
• MS SQL SERVER X86_64
• ORACLE 64-BIT
• SAP ASE FOR BUSINESS SUITE
• SAP HANA

Yes you can store one netweaver with GBT in the cloud, some small limitations might apply but this might be pretty straight forward to implement
