Where are stored the NOTES written down in /SCWM/DIFF_ANALYZER

Hello experts.

Have you ever used the NOTES in the tCode /SCWM/DIFF_ANALYZER (Difference Analyzer)?

We are able to enter notes, either in the header or in the detail section, however once we post it, the information is gone. We cannot find it anywhere.

The information is stored temporarly in table /scwm/diff_ana, but once you post it, it is deleted.

We already did read the documentation and it only mentions that you can enter NOTES, but never says where it can be reported or fetched.

Do you know where we can fetch it after the difference is posted?

Resolution

1. The specific use of this 'Create Note' tab is to maintain the text temporarily to let the other users know reasons to store the differences without posting in the difference analyzer.
2. The reason for differences can be determined from corresponding reference documents that are responsible for the difference posting to difference analyzer.
3. It is not intended in standard EWM to store the note within the reference document or keep the note after the differences are analyzed and cleared.

Is there a way to delete the note and flag for note (not only the content inside the note)?

Hello there,

sorry posting this to an old thread. But did you find the solution to find the notes captured during the Physical Inventory difference difference posting in /SCWM/DIFF_ANALYZER transaction. It is strange that there is no easy and straight forward to read this information for a PI document.
