hi,
I was just wondering what the exact key point of differentiating ACTUAL_DIST from PLAND_DIST.
ACTUAL_DIST can pick up information from every stage without an issue; we can still change and update the KM information as well from the stages
So what is the function or contribution of PLAND_DIST here?
Thanks
Emirhan

Hi @EmirhanBat,
Please see the example below and let us know if you have further questions.
Example: Freight Charge calculation based on planned distance in freight order before cargo/truck journey started to destination...charge calculation based on agreement with carrier partner so before start it shows the approximate...distance comes from lane, longitudelattude, map...etc depends on the process.

Ajit

Hi Ajit
Thanks for the reply
I already saw the example. I been using the Actual Distance for every KM-related calculation till this time.As far as I can see, the example for the Planned Distance is completely same with the Actual Distance logic. Or am I missing something? What's the exact difference between them? Where does PLAND_DIST check for the distance as compared to ACTUAL_DIST
Thank you
Emirhan
Hi Emirhan,
In my opinion that is not same, Planned distance = Distance between ordinates ( assume point A to Point B) however, Actual distance would be different to planned distance, fields cover distance/movement as actual distance Assume Truck comes in then park , loading, check out ....customer check out, parking location ...unloading location...etc
Kind Regards,
Ajit
