What is the CUSTCHANNEL?

Hi experts,

I have been learning SAP IBP and currently am trying to understand the Attributes.

However I'm confusing I can't understand what several attribute's mean.

Would you tell me what is meaning below attributes and what the situation I need them in ?

AGGREGATE (MDT AGGCONSTRAINT)

CUSTCHANNEL (MDT CUSTOMER)

PBR (MTD LOCATION PRODUCT)

SERVICELEVELTYPE (MTD LOCATION PRODUCT)

CONSTRAINTTYPE (MTD LOCATION RESOURCE)

TDELIVERYTYPE (MTD LOCATION SOURCE)

TINCLOTSIZE (MTD LOCATION SOURCE)

PLMSTATUS (MTD PRODUCT)

PPERIODSOFCOVERAGE ( MTD PRODUCTION SOURC HEADER)

LAG (MTD LAG)

DSFULFILLMENTDAYS ( MTD DSFULFILLMENT)

Hi Shun,

There are many attributes that are just to give one or other type of information. Example 'Customer Channel' is just like a sales medium like (E-commerce, Stores, retail etc.). While other are also can be used by the algorithm like TINCLOTSIZE is used by optimiser algorithm.

I would suggest to read it through the SAP IBP help portal link is above where you can get the answers of most of your questions.

Attribute AGGREGATE is just for identifying the planning levels of aggregated planning levels. You could refer to this page for how to use it: https://help.sap.com/viewer/feae3cea3cc549aaa9d9de7d363a83e6/2202/en-US/63b1bb56ed263f23e10000000a44...

For the other attributes, you could also search in the IBP help portal to get more information.
